Gosford runs from the Brisbane Water foreshore up into the slopes beneath Rumbalara Reserve, and the roofs change as you climb. Down near the water the exposure is sheltered estuary — humid, brackish, and hard on gutters and fixings in a way that catches people out, because nobody thinks of Gosford as a beachside suburb. Repair, restore, or replace

If the tiles are sound and the ridge lines have gone, roof restoration is usually the better value. If tiles are breaking underfoot or battens have softened, we will say so and talk about roof replacement instead. One fault in one spot is a roof repair, and that is where most Gosford jobs start.
